BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The La Salle University men's basketball team (10-20, 8-10 Atlantic 10) is seeded ninth and will take on eighth-seeded Rhode Island (16-14, 9-9 A-10) in the second round of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 14. Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

The Explorers completed the regular season with a 72-57 victory over Fordham, and will take on URI in a rematch of a contest held at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center in January. La Salle led by as many as 10 points in the second half but dropped a 78-67 decision to the Rams.

La Salle fans are welcome to attend our pre-game tailgates two hours before every Explorer game at 200 Fifth Sports Bar (200 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217), just 8 blocks from the Barclays Center.  For more information and to register, please click here.

There will be a bus leaving from Tom Gola Arena for fans on the day of the games that we are playing. Seats on the bus cost $15 and reservations must be made by calling 215.951.1999. On Thursday, the bus will leave at 8:00 a.m. Departure times for future rounds will be announced at GoExplorers.com and through social media channels (@GoExplorers).

To enhance the fan experience the A-10 and Barclays Center have instituted an Open Seating Policy for the 2019 A-10 Men's Basketball Championship. The majority of seats in the Barclays Center will be open seating, providing fans with the opportunity to sit closer to the playing floor and/or near the team bench.
