PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University men's basketball team will face Big 5 rival Temple at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center on Saturday, Nov. 16, head coach Ashley Howard announced on Tuesday. A tipoff time for the game will be announced at a later date.
 
The Explorers and Owls have met 119 times over the course of the all-time series, dating back to 1936. In the most recent meeting between the two teams, Temple edged La Salle, 75-67, last season at the Liacouras Center. 
 
Current senior Isiah Deas led the Explorers with a game-high 23 points and four rebounds. In his first collegiate game, Jared Kimbrough recorded a team-high seven rebounds. The Owls finished the season 23-10, which included a trip to the NCAA First Four.
