PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team will host West Chester University in an exhibition game, head coach Ashley Howard announced on Wednesday. The Explorers and Rams will square off on Saturday, Nov. 2, one week ahead of the regular-season opener. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.

Game times for the upcoming 2019-20 home schedule have also been announced. Notable games on the Explorers' schedule includes the Nov. 9 opener against Iona (4:00 p.m.) and the Big 5 contest against Temple (2:00 p.m.) on Nov. 16.

The men's and women's basketball teams will play a total of four doubleheaders during the 2019-20 season. The men's team will play the first half of the twinbill on Saturday, Dec. 21, as it hosts Fairleigh Dickinson for a 12:00 p.m. game. The men will tip-off at 8:00 p.m. for the other two doubleheader dates (Jan. 29 vs. Saint Louis; Feb. 19 vs. Fordham). 

Additionally, the televised contest against Dayton will begin at 8:30 p.m. and air live on CBS Sports Network. The game is the first Atlantic 10 contest scheduled to be broadcast nationally this season.
