WILMINGTON, Del. - The La Salle University women's tennis team began its 2020 season on Friday afternoon, falling to Delaware, 7-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Explorers fought valiantly in doubles competition, with senior Ali Snyder and sophomore Jazmin Walle taking a 4-2 lead at the top doubles spot before falling, 6-4.
- UD took the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 2, before winning all five singles matches in straight sets.
- Snyder took a game in each of her sets at No. 1, as did junior Aleks Nikolic in the second position.
