TOWSON, Md. – The La Salle softball team (0-10) fell to Stony Brook (10-3) on Sunday morning, 8-0, in six innings of play to conclude the DiMarini Tiger Clash hosted by Towson.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Stony Brook took an early lead with a run in the first inning.
- The Sea Wolves boosted their lead in the third with a pair of runs coming in.
- The home squad sealed the victory with five unearned runs in the sixth inning to implement the limit.

- Sophomore Kelly Toomey picked up the loss (0-8) after she tossed 5.2 innings. She allowed just three earned runs and struck out five.
