Men's Swimming and Diving | October 8, 2022
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Men's and women's swimming and diving traveled to Drexel University on Friday for the 2022 season opener. The men fell to Drexel 169-131, and the women lost 152-146.
La Salle is now 0-1 on the young season.
How the Swimmers Finished –
- Anne Moser earned the first win of the meet for La Salle in the women's 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:35.81.
- In the men's 1000-yard freestyle, George Williamson got the win posting a time of 9:39.46.
- Gabby Herbreder's 1:05.67 was good for first place in the women's 100-yard breaststroke.
- The men's 200-yard butterfly had Zack Wolbert as the top finisher with a time of 1:52.48.
- Zack Miller added to the wins for La Salle by taking the top spot in the men's 100-yard freestyle with a finish time of 46.85.
- In the women's 200-yard breaststroke Herbreder took first with a time of 2:22.73.
- Thilda Ström won the women's 500-yard freestyle with a 5:12.12 time.
- Williamson earned his second win of the meet for La Salle finishing first in the men's 500-yard freestyle clocking in at 4:39.64.
- In the women's 200-yard IM Felicia Rogell got first with a 2:09.59 time.
How the Divers Finished –
- In the women's one-meter diving Phoebe Shaya got first place with a score of 265.65.
- Sam Henninger won in the men's one-meter dive scoring a 300.38.
- Shaya earned the top spot in the women's three-meter dive at 269.10.
- Henninger earned first in the men's three-meter dive at a score of 299.18.
Up Next –
- Both men and women swimming and diving teams will travel to Seton Hall University on Saturday, October 29th at 12 p.m. for a matchup against the Pirates.
