  • Lock Haven fired off its best shot at the Explorers cage on its third consecutive corner at the 25-minute mark. The Bald Eagles sent a rocket to the goal from the top of the circle, but Ryan Curley made the diving save to end the play.
  • La Salle saw its best chance in the first half with just over three minutes remaining. Tatum Johnson collected the ball at midfield and took off with speed into the circle making her way through two Lock Haven defenders to face the goalie one-on-one. She fired off two straight shots, both saved.
  • La Salle opened the second half strong capitalizing on its third-straight corner. The Explorers regrouped after a mishap at the top of the circle and worked the ball back into play for a shot from Samie Hackman saved by the Lock Haven defense. The rebound was collected quickly by Cat McFadden who found the back right of the cage to give La Salle the 1-0 lead over the Bald Eagles.
  • Lock Haven found the equalizer converting its 18th corner of the game with a rocket from the top of circle in the 56th minute.
  • After nearly 20 minutes of overtime that included two shots and two corners for the Explorers, Sol Espona found herself in a one-on-one in the backfield with a Lock Haven defender. As the clock winded down she took the back-handed shot from the left side that went high of the net to send the contest into penalty shootouts.
