Atlantic 10 Released its Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Preseason Poll

Newport News, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released their preseason coaches' poll for the upcoming season. The La Salle men's swimming and diving are tied for sixth and women's are seventh.
 
The men's team received a total of 23 points in the poll and the women's team received 54 total points. George Washington received 64 for men and 121 for women, both enough to earn them first place in the polls for both teams.
 
The La Salle men's swimming and diving team is coming off a 1-8 overall record last season. Their lone victory coming against Fordham (150-136) at the end of last season.
 
The La Salle women's swimming and diving team finished 4-5 in the 2021-2022 season. Late in the season they faced Monmouth where they won convincingly, 163-98.
 
The 2022 season is set to begin at Drexel University on Friday, October 7th at 3 p.m. The Explorers will have their first home meet on Friday, November 11th at 6 p.m. against Rider. The men will start A-10 competition on Saturday, January 21st at 11 a.m. as they take on Fordham. The women will start A-10 competition on Saturday, December 3rd at 1 p.m. against Rhode Island.
