PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Explorers women's lacrosse will face off against the St. Joe's Hawks tomorrow, April 1, at 1:00 p.m. This will be La Salle's alumni appreciation game.
La Salle is in search for its first win, while the Hawks come in with a 5-6 overall record, and 3-1 in conference.
Scouting the Explorers –
- Most recently, the Explorers are coming off-of a 16-5 loss to VCU at home.
- Maddie Henderson scored against the Rams and continued her five-game scoring streak. In those five games she has scored seven goals.
- Henderson and Alana Lathan are the team leaders in goals-scored with 12 each.
- Katie Johnson is coming into tomorrow on a four-game scoring streak where she has tallied six total in that span.
- Goalie, Julia Dellaratta, has started in all 10 games for the Explorers and has a .367 save percentage on the season.
Scouting the Hawks –
- The Hawks recently faced off against San Diego State and came out with a 13-6 victory.
- Emma O'Neill had a hat trick in the game against the Aztecs, which puts her at 15 goals on the season.
- Maddie Yoder is the scoring-leader for SJU with 22 goals on the year. Bonnie Yu is one goal behind Yoder.
- Riley Evans has 73 total draw controls this season through 11 games played.
- Goalie, Jorden Concordia, has made the start in all SJU games, and comes in with a .473 save percentage.
