PHILADELPHIA – Explorers swimming and diving will return to Kirk Pool on Friday for its first meet in three weeks, competing against the Villanova Wildcats. The meet will start at 5:00 p.m.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS (WOMEN):
- The La Salle women lost its last meet by a score of 169-119, playing the Drexel in that competition.
- Carlota Ungo won the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 1:07.24 and 2:24.47, respectively.
- Felicia Rogell won the 200-yard IM event, with Beren Celik following right behind in second place.
- Tiffany Brawn placed first in the three-meter diving event and was second in the one-meter diving event.
- Kelsie Waddington did the opposite: placing second in the three-meter event and winning the latter.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS (MEN):
- The Explorers lost by a score of 226-73 to Drexel on Saturday, Oct. 19.
- Felix Jedbratt got second in the 50-yard free with a time of 21.12, as well as second in the 100-yard fly with a time of 48.94.
- In diving, Lucas Dekaney won both diving events.
- Liam Cahill finished runner-up to Dekaney in both of those events.
- La Salle had third-place finishes in the 4x50 yard medley and freestyle relay events.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- The women's team is coming off a loss to the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday night, losing by a score of 167-128.
- On the men's side, the squad last competed against NJIT last Friday night, winning by a score of 178-118.
- The record for the women's team and men's team is 2-1.
- The head coach of the Wildcats is Rick Simpson.
