CAMDEN, N.J. - The La Salle University women's rowing team will take part in the 2024 Dad Vail Regatta on the Cooper River beginning Friday, May 10. The Explorers will have a total of five boats that will take part in the largest regular intercollegiate rowing event in the United States.

ABOUT THE EXPLORERS

• The women's team looks to continue momentum from its performance at Delaware on May 4.
• The varsity eight and second varsity eight boats each had solid performances, with the varsity eight taking three of the four pieces from the Blue Hens.
• At Dad Vail Regatta, due to graduation, the Explorers will have a pair of varsity four boats in competition, along with a varsity eight and a pair of singles.
• This year's appearance at Dad Vails is the first for the women's team since 2021, when the novice eight took silver -- a boat which included current seniors Kate Vasey and Lily Henshaw.
• Following Dad Vails, La Salle will look to close out the season strong at Atlantic 10 Championships, which will also be held on the Cooper River on Saturday, May 18.
