WASHINGTON, D.C.- For the second consecutive season, two La Salle women's rowers have been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team. Natalie Dee and Lilly Sher comprise two of the 11 student-athletes selected for the honor. This also marks the second consecutive year that Sher has earned a spot on the team. Those given the league honor must be at least a sophomore, be a starter or significant reserve, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
 
Both were members of the first Varsity 8+ boat all season. They helped lead the Explorers to one of their best seasons in recent memory.
 
The V8+ season was highlighted by appearances in the Grand Final in both the Kerr Cup, where the boat placed second, and Dad Vail Regatta. The boat also earned a bronze medal in the Kelly Cup and helped the team set a points record at the A-10 Championships.
 
In the classroom, Sher is a Nursing major with a career GPA of a perfect 4.0. Dee is a double major in marketing and sports management, as well as a double minor in Digital Arts and Multimedia Communications. She has also held a variety of high-profile internships, including working with La Salle Athletics.
