Philadelphia, PA - On a windy Saturday on the Schuylkill River, the La Salle women's rowing team kicked off their spring season with the Kerr Cup. Only a three-team field this year, La Salle, Fordham, and Drexel each entered three 8+ boats into the competition.

The Varsity 8+ and the the 3-Varsity 8+ each took second place, with the Varsity 8+ falling to Fordham by less than five seconds. 

The Explorers will take on the Schuylkill again in two weeks at the Temple Invitational on March 28.
