Pennsauken, NJ - On Saturday, the La Salle women's rowing team competed at the Atlantic 10 Championship on the Cooper River in New Jersey, where the Varsity Four earned silver, becoming the first Explorer boat to medal since the Varsity Four captured gold in 2002. The Explorers also made history with their depth, scoring a program-high 31 team-points and qualifying four boats to their respective Grand Finals for the first time in program history. 

Following the Varsity Four's silver-medal finish (7:38.792), the Second Varsity Eight placed sixth (7:18.050) and the Varsity Eight finished fourth (6:43.696), while the Third Varsity Eight opened the day with a third-place finish (8:24.109). The Varsity Four shared the same lineup the entire spring season, debuting with a 2nd place finish at the Knecht Cup Regatta on April 12.
