WASHINGTON, D.C.- La Salle women's rowers Lilly Sher and Madeline Wanzer have been named by the Atlantic 10 to the All-Academic Team, the conference announced.

The two are joined by 12 other athletes from conference institutions. Those given the league honor must be at least a sophomore, be a starter or significant reserve, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
 
Both were members of the first Varsity 8+ boat all season. They helped lead La Salle to strong results all year.
 
The V8+ season was highlighted by appearances in the Grand Final in both the Kerr Cup and Dad Vail Regatta. The boat also earned a bronze medal in the Kelly Cup and placed fifth in the A-10 finals, one better than last year and a spot higher than arch-rival Saint Joseph's.
 
In the classroom, Sher is a Nursing major with a career GPA of a perfect 4.0. Like Sher, Wanzer also holds a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She is majoring in History.
