PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle swimming and diving teams held a dual meet at Kirk Pool Friday afternoon, squaring off against the Bucknell Bison.

Overall, the men's team lost by a score of 183-116, while the women's team lost by a score of 175-125 to the Bison.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Explorers won the first two events, with both teams getting gold in the 200-yard medley relays.
- Gabrysia Herbreder, Carlota Ungo, Tori Fenn, and Camilla Frost was the winning team in the relay event, finishing in a time of 1:46.15.
- Tarik Gusic, AJ Wong, Felix Jedbratt, and Carter Perkins worked together to get the Explorers the win in the same event. They finished with a time of 1:32.71.
- Herbreder got her second win of the day in the 100-yard back, winning with a time of 58.76.
- After Herbreder's win, La Salle would win the following two events. Gusic won the 100-yard back, completing it in 51.83, while Ungo won the 100-yard breast with a time of 1:06.57.
- Jedbratt dominated in the 200-yard butterfly, as his winning time of 1:50.23 was more than four seconds faster than every other competitor. He would also easily win the 100-yard fly moments later, finishing with a time of 48.84.
- Carter Perkins won the 100-yard free with a time of 46.89.
- Herbreder and Ungo went 1-2 in the 200-yard breaststroke, with respective times of 2:22.29 and 2:24.55.
- In the last swim event of the day, the team of Perkins, Jedbratt, Gusic, and Noah Fredriksson won the 400-yard free relay with a time of 3:05.49.
- On the diving end, the women swept the podium in the one-meter event. Tiffany Brawn won the event, followed by Kelsie Waddington and Ava Keller.
- Carter Randall and Bryce Peterson placed first and third in the same event.
- Brawn won the other diving event (three-meter) with a score of 262.2.
- Liam Cahill made sure all the diving events were won by the Blue and Gold, winning the three-meter event with a score of 272.25.
