Conshohocken, PA - William & Mary outlasted La Salle on Sunday afternoon at The Proving Grounds, as the Explorers took a 3-2 loss on senior day to end their 2025 season.
The Tribe jumped ahead early behind a pair of first-period goals from Anya Green, the first on a penalty stroke in the 13th minute and the second five minutes later off an assist from Emme Schwartz. La Salle responded quickly as freshman Jeanne Legast put the Explorers on the board less than two minutes later, and junior Natalie Wilson buried a shot off a rebound to even the score at 2–2 by the end of the first half.
William & Mary's Natasha Browning delivered the goal that would become the game-winner in the 35th minute of play, finishing a feed from Amelia Morgan. The Explorers took three shots off three corners in the fourth quarter, but failed to find the back of the cage.
La Salle outshot William & Mary 13–12 and matched the Tribe with nine corners apiece. Goalkeepers Abby Boggs and Zarah Synnestvedt combined for two saves for the Explorers, while Alexandra de Jesus stopped six shots for the Tribe.
