Francesca Co' scored seven goals to move into first place on the all-time goal-scoring list as the La Salle water polo team fell to three ranked opponents this weekend at the Bruno Classic, hosted by Brown University. The Explorers have now faced four ranked teams this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED – No. 11/12 INDIANA (L, 15-11)
- After two early goals from the Spanish duo Martina Bonet Saez and Sara Quirante Talli tied things up at two, Indiana found the back of the net twice to go up 4-2.
- Tatum Lomax kicked off the second quarter with a goal to trim the lead to one. Despite a Sofia Kolovou score, Indiana notched three of the last four goals to take a 7-4 lead into halftime.
- Twice in the third frame, the Explorer cut the lead to one goal. First at 7-6 off back-to-back scores from Bonet Saez and Paige Mitchell, then again at 9-8 with scores from Bonet Saez and Kolovou. The Hoosiers dented the twine with just over a minute left to go up 10-8.
- In a high-scoring fourth quarter, Indiana began the frame with three consecutive goals to build a 13-8 lead with four minutes to go to effectively seal the win. Kolovou and Lomax combined for three, but it was too little, too late.
- Bonet Saez, Kolovou, and Lomax each scored a hat trick.
HOW IT HAPPENED – No. 18/24 PACIFIC (L, 15-12)
- Pacific exploded out of the gate, scoring six goals in the first quarter to the Explorers three.
- Francesca Co' and Tatum Lomax each found the back of the net in the second frame, with Lomax beating the buzzer with nine seconds left on the board. The teams hit the locker room with La Salle trailing, 8-5.
- The Tigers cashed in with two goals in the first 80 seconds of the second half. They added a third before Co' drilled three goals in under three minutes to set a career-goals record and set the score at 11-8 heading into the fourth quarter.
- Back-to-back goals from Kolovou and Co' brought La Salle within one for the first time since the first quarter. The Tigers drained the next four goals to put the game out of reach. Co' and Kolovou scored again in the final minutes.
- Co' impressed with six goals, a high for a La Salle player.
HOW IT HAPPENED – No. 25/RV MARIST (L, 10-6)
- Marist scored the first three goals of the game. Claire Durham got La Salle on the board.
- The Foxes notched their fourth to begin the second quarter. The Explorers dominated the remainder of the second, scoring four straight goals to take a 5-4 lead into halftime. Bonet Saez, and Kolovou scored two each for the Blue & Gold.
- Over the next two quarters, Marist went on a 6-0 run, with La Salle not finding the back of the net again until Carlotta Zandali scored her first goal of the weekend with 1:35 remaining.
