WASHINGTON, D.C. – La Salle track & field runners
MacCallum Rowe and
Gwenno Goode have each been named the Atlantic 10 Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Rowe's time of 28:21.64 in the 10k run at the Raleigh Relays last Thursday got him 12th overall in the race. His time is currently the 12th fastest among all of NCAA Division I in that event this outdoor season.
Goode placed third in the 3k steeple at the Raleigh Relays last Friday with a time of 9:56.8. Her performance is the third fastest performance in that event among all DIvision I athletes so far this season.
The teams will next compete in the Sam Howell Invitational on Saturday, April 5, which starts at 4:00 p.m.
