WASHINGTON, D.C. – La Salle track athlete
Callum Murray has been named the Atlantic 10 Track & Field Rookie of the Week, which was announced Tuesday afternoon.
Murray was 28th overall in the 1500-meter run at the Penn Relays last Thursday, finishing the race in a time of 3:48.50. His time is currently the sixth fastest time in the conference. This is Murray's first time this season winning A-10 Track & Field Rookie of the Week honors.
The Explorers will return to action on Saturday, racing in the conference championships in Fairfax, Va at 2:30 p.m. The meet will be hosted by George Mason University.
