Philadelphia, PA - As part of a record-setting Day of Giving on April 9, the La Salle University athletic department recorded a 112% increase in year-over-year donations. In total, La Salle University raised over $1.9 million on the 12th annual Day of Giving, making it the largest Day of Giving in school history.

"We are extremely grateful for everyone who contributed to La Salle University and supported our athletic department on this Day of Giving, which highlighted the power of the La Salle community,"  Vice President of Athletics and Recreation and Director of Athletics
Ashwin Puri said. "Exceeding our fundraising goals is a testament to the passion and commitment of our alumni, donors, and friends. Their support is instrumental in creating exceptional opportunities for our student-athletes to succeed both in their sports and in life."

Funds raised during the 12th annual Day of Giving and throughout the year will directly benefit La Salle's 370 student-athletes, supporting scholarships, facility enhancements, and innovative training resources.
