The Explorers won the rebound battle handily (36-27) but came up short in turnover margin (20-16) while allowing the Ramblers to shoot 48% from the field.

Redshirt freshman Kiara Williams led the Explorers with a career-high 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting, including six rebounds and three assists, while sophomore Joan Quinn came up just short of the 500-point mark for her career in the loss. She tallied nine points to go along with five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. If she can manage just one point at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, she'll become the third Explorer to surpass 500 points this season, joining Ashleigh Connor and Aryss Macktoon.

The Explorers return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24, traveling to St. Bonaventure for another Atlantic 10 contest at the Reilly Center. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+ and the YES Network.
