Lewisburg, PA - La Salle dropped its tenth game of the season to Bucknell today, suffering a 1-0 loss at Graham Field at Holmes Stadium.
Following a back-and-forth first quarter where each team took five shots apiece, the Bucknell defense stood tall and denied La Salle a single shot in the second quarter. Their offense backed them up with 11 shots on goal, including the sole goal of the game by Bella Notaro in the 19th minute.
The stellar defense continued in the second half. Abby Boggs and her counterpart Sarah Althouse each finished the game with nine saves.
La Salle drops to 5-10 on the season while Bucknell improves to 6-7. La Salle returns to action next Sunday, as they take on Drexel where they will look to bounce back and find their offensive groove.
