Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle men's basketball program announced the signings of guards
Devin Booker and
Kam Burton and forward
Vice Zanki on Monday afternoon.
Booker, a Philadelphia native, returns to his home city after spending his freshman season at Atlantic 10 foe George Mason. The six-foot-four-inch guard played in 25 of 33 games during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging nearly 8.5 minutes per contest for the Patriots.
As a senior at Cristo Rey High School, Booker averaged 24.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. He was a three-time all-state selection during his prep career and the back-to-back Penn-Jersey Athletic Association Player of the Year as a junior and a senior.
Burton, a six-foot-three-inch guard from Houston, Texas, joins the Blue and Gold after spending the 2025-26 season at Stephen F. Austin, where he helped the Lumberjacks to a 28-6 overall record and National Invitation Tournament (NIT) berth as a junior.
Burton started in all 34 games, averaging 7.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game while shooting 40.8% from the field. He ranked second on the team with 76 3-point field goals and shot a team-best 42.5% from beyond the arc. Burton also netted at least three 3-pointers in 12 different games.
Before Stephen F. Austin, Burton played two seasons at Southeastern Louisiana. He averaged 6.1 points in 62 games and made 97 3-pointers at a 37.7% clip.
Zanki arrives at 20th and Olney after spending the 2025-26 season at Niagara. In 29 games for the Purple Eagles, Zanki made 13 starts and averaged 8.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per game.
Zanki, a 6-foot-8 forward, shot 88-of-185 (47.6%) from the field, including a team-high 42 3-pointers and a team-best 38.5% from downtown.
The Zagreb, Croatia native also reached double figures in 10 different contests for Niagara during the 2025-26 season.
Zanki previously spent two seasons at Eastern Washington, where he played 46 games for the Eagles.
