Biography
2012-13: At A10s, broke his own school record and the 14-yr old Atlantic 10 Conference record in the 100 yard backstroke in 48.25, good for an NCAA "B" cut... earned a silver medal in finals of the event (48.76)... broke the 31-year-old school record in the 100 yard freestyle in 44.87, making him the first La Salle swimmer to break 45.00... finished seventh in the event with a 45.35... split a 44.65 on the 400 yard freestyle relay... split a 19.93 on the 200 yard freestyle relay... placed fifth in the 50 freestyle in 20.56 after a morning preliminary time of 20.55... At the Bucknell Invitational (11/16-18/12), he took first in the 100 yard backstroke in 50.47... Also placed 11th in the 50 yard freestyle (21.44) and sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (46.73).
2011-12: Put forth a tremendous junior year season, breaking three La Salle school records and collecting two gold medals at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2/22-25/2012)... Helped set a La Salle school record in the 1st place 200 medley relay (1:29.67) at the A-10 Champs, splitting a conference-best 22.62 in the lead-off leg... Member of the school record-setting 200 free relay (1:22.45), splitting a 20.36 in the third leg at the A-10 Champs... Crushed his own school record in the 100 back by 1.37 seconds in the preliminary heats, touching the wall in 49.11... Claimed the gold medal in the finals of the 100 back by nearly a full second over the field, rebreaking his newly set school record in a time of 48.68... Swam a personal best 45.39 in the prelims of the 100 free at the A-10 Champs.
2010-11: Member of the school record-breaking 200 medley relay which took silver at the A-10 Champs, clocking in at 1:30.51… Individually, swam a 21.36 in the 50-free, 46.12 in the 100-free, 1:41.42 in the 200-free and 50.74 in the 100-back at A-10s (2/23-26/11).
2009-10: Broke the La Salle 100-back record by posting a 50.48 in the 100-back preliminaries and went on to place fifth in the finals at the A-10 Championships (2/19/10)... Part of the 400 medley relay that took sixth place (3:26.00) at the A-10 Championships (2/19/10)... Part of the 400-free relay that took fifth place (3:05.98) at the A-10 Championships (2/20/10)... Also posted a 46.03 in the 100-free, a 1:42.64 in the 200-free, a 23.44 in the 50-back and a 1:54.28 in the 200-back at A-10s.
High School: Three-time All-American... Two-time Junior National Qualifier... Three-time state swimmer... Served as Upper Dublin High School team captain senior year... Holds school records in 100-free, 200-medley relay and 400-free relay.
