McCarthy Stadium serves as home to the Explorers men's and women's soccer and women's lacrosse programs. It also serves as a primary venue for La Salle intramurals, club sports and open recreation space for the University.
The facility features a durable and consistent Sprinturf playing surface, newly installed in the summer of 2017, and is also equipped with lights, making it possible for use into the evening.
McCarthy Stadium seats 7,500 spectators and the playing surface is surrounded by a six lane, one-quarter mile track. The Stadium originally opened in 1936 and annually serves as the host of La Salle commencement ceremonies.
DIRECTIONS: McCarthy Stadium is located on La Salle University's campus. For guest parking, enter the La Salle University entrance located at 1825 Lindley Avenue. There is a lot next to Hank DeVincent Field, a short walk to McCarthy Stadium.
