La Salle University Athletics

David Cattai is a sports writer from the Philadelphia area, specifically South Philadelphia. He is in his second year as the head coach of the La Salle Club Baseball team.

David has covered sports for media outlets such as The Collegian, which is La Salle's student newspaper, and Broad Spectrum Sports, specifically Buzz On Broad & Phielder's Choice, where he serves as Associate Editor, Lead Contributor and is a credentialed member of the Philadelphia media.

He also co-hosts a weekly podcast through iTunes ('Phielder's Voice' Podcast) through BuzzOnBroad.com, a CBS Philly pick for "Sports Blog of the Year."

David is a graduate at one of Philadelphia's top-private schools, St. Joseph's Preparatory, in 2011. He graduated from La Salle in the Spring of 2015.
