Matthew Roche returns to his alma mater as the Head Coach of the newly rebooted La Salle University Men’s Club Soccer Team.
As a former player for the university’s club team, Roche looks to put the men’s club team back on the map with competing conference teams such as West Chester, Haverford & Drexel. His ambition, drive and intelligence are only a few of the qualities that translate smoothly from the classroom to the pitch. A high school professor by day, and a gaffer by night, Matthew’s eye for talent, determination to win and strategic playing style is what lifted the club to a successful 5-3 inaugural season. He is a visionary who’s tactics match the english greats such as Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger. Coach Roche aims to create a club soccer legacy at La Salle that is one for the record books.
