Prior to La Salle:

Brings a wealth of high-level college baseball experience to Philadelphia, having started for three seasons at the Division I level … Played freshman and sophomore seasons at Manhattan College for La Salle head coach Dave Miller, hitting .281 in 105 career games for the Jaspers – all starts … Hit eight home runs as a redshirt freshman in 2023 and OPS’d .855 in 2024, leading team with 61 hits … First Team All-MAAC selection in 2024 … Transferred to Memphis for the 2025 season, starting 35 games for the Tigers … Brother of La Salle teammate Ryan Perez.

2025: Posted a .974 fielding percentage on the infield for Memphis, committing just four errors in 152 chances … Drove in 17 runs and hit two home runs … Started 35 games and appeared in 42 in a strong American Athletic Conference that saw five teams receive bids to the NCAA Tournament.

2024: First Team All-MAAC selection … Hit .328 with team-best 61 hits … OPS’d .855 while driving in 30 runs, scoring 39, and walking nearly as many times (32) as striking out (35) … Stole 14 bases while being caught stealing only five times … Opened the season on an eight-game hitting streak, and later posted a 13-game streak from 4/9-4/30 … Posted 19 multi-hit games … Drove in six runs while going 6-for-11 during a three-game series against Quinnipiac 4/26-4/28 … Committed just six errors in 234 chances on the infield for the Jaspers.

2023: Played in and started 53 games as a redshirt freshman … OPS’d .758 with eight home runs … Posted 38 RBI and scored 33 times … Hit .237 but reached base at a .349 clip … Notched first collegiate hit at Stetson on 2/18 … Slugged first collegiate home run in his next game at Cal Bakersfield on 2/25 … Recorded at least one hit in 17 of first 21 collegiate games … Drove in seven RBI within a 24-hour span in back-to-back doubleheaders on 3/4 and 3/5 against Lehigh and Maryland Eastern Shore.
