Sam Webb enters his third season in 2021-22 after joining the La Salle cross country and track & field programs for the 2019-20 academic year. He serves as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the men's and women's teams.
Webb came to La Salle after an impressive running career at the University of Pennsylvania. With the Quakers, Webb earned numerous accolades in cross country while also competing in the 1,500 meters, the mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters on the indoor and outdoor track.
He finished his track career ranked eighth all-time at Penn in the indoor mile. In 2016, Webb was a part of the Ivy League Cross Country Heps Team Champion squad. Webb excelled in cross country his senior season in 2018, earning Second Team All-Ivy League honors. He went on to post a top-10 finish at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals to collect all-region status and qualified for the NCAA Championships.
A Yardley, Pa., native, Webb attended Pennsbury High School and graduated from Penn in 2019.
