Tyler Jakubek joined the La Salle coaching staff in September 2021 after serving as a student manager, assistant coach, and interim head coach at Boston University over the course of four years. The 2025-26 season will mark his fifth season as associate head coach of the Explorers.Â
During his time in Boston, Jakubek coached seven Patriot League champions including Andrea Claeson who qualified for the 2020 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Jakubek also helped lead the women's cross country team to back-to-back Patriot League Championship Titles in 2019 and 2020.Â
A native of Westfield, New Jersey, Jakubek earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 2020.Â
