• Set an indoor 3k PR in the Dr. Sander Scorcher meet; time of 8:12.29
• Achieved a personal best in the indoor 5k at the BU Valentine Invitational; time of 14:36.49
• Second in the 3k steeplechase at the Sam Howell Invite meet
• Got a PR in the 3k steeple at the Princeton Elite meet, racing to a time of 8:52.33 and placing second
• Qualified to run in the NCAA Regional Outdoor meet in the steeplechase

2023-24

• Ran a 8:16.95 in the 3k (a PR), placing him ninth at the Villanova Invitational

2022-23

• Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll

2020-22 (Hagerstown Community College)

• Placed ninth at the 2020 NJCAA Cross Country Nationals and 10th at the 2021 nationals. 
• Recorded back-to-back fifth-place finishes in the NJCAA Half Marathon Nationals in 2020 and 2021.
• Holds the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. 
• Named Academic All-American. 

• Attended North Hagerstown High School.
• Graduated in 202 with a 4.31 weighted GPA and highest honors. 
• Totaled nine varsity letters. 
• Clocked a time of 4:45 in the 1600-meter and 10:32 in the 3200-meter during his senior season. 
• Son of Matthew and Rachel Butts. 
• Majoring in accounting.
