Andre Nyce is entering his fourth season as the assistant coach of the La Salle men's water polo team.
Nyce was the club water polo coach at La Salle University during the 2012-13 season and for the past three seasons has been a water polo referee for high school and collegiate club matches. Nyce competed on the men's water polo teams at UMass that won Eastern Water Polo Championships in 1999 and 2001 and finished third at the 1999 National Water Polo Championships.
He graduated from UMass in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in English and journalism. As a player and coach, Nyce led the Patriots club water polo team to a championship in the 2016 Main Line League spring competition.
"I'm excited to be included in this great opportunity for La Salle University to bring some exciting water polo action to the city of Philadelphia," Nyce said. "Although we recruit nationally and internationally, I hope we can also help the sport flourish right here in Pennsylvania."
