Mary Pat Conville

Mary Pat enters her second season as an assistant coach on Shoemaker's staff. 

Mary Pat played softball for the Explorers for four years, leading the team in batting average her freshman and sophomore years (.300 and .370, respectively). The .370 average her sophomore year ranked second in the Atlantic 10 Conference. By the end of her career, Mary Pat carried a .321 batting average on 165 hits, 31 of which were doubles. She is a testament to longevity, starting in all 166 collegiate games during her career. Additionally, Mary Pat made the A10 All-Rookie Team in 2007.

Mary Pat's accomplishments are not restricted to the softball field. As a senior, she was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team and also received the De La Salle Community Service Award. After graduating from La Salle in 2010 with a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics, Mary Pat returned to La Salle to earn her MBA in Accounting which she completed in 2012.

During the first year of her graduate studies, Mary Pat joined the crew team where she continued to excel. She placed third at the Atlantic 10 Championships in the Freshman/Novice Eight category and fifth at the Knetch Cup in the same category. Furthermore, she rowed in Dad Vails and was a member of the first women's eight to make it to the semi-finals of the event.
