George Wade was brought on as assistant coach in the summer of 2025. He brings eight years of experience in coaching to La Salle.
Prior to joining the Explorers, Wade spent five seasons as a student-athlete at Arcadia University. He was a decorated swimmer, a three time individual conference champion, five time team record breaker, member of second place team (2022-23) at MAC Conference Championships, three time MAC conference honor roll, and Academic all-MAC selection. He also worked in the athletic department as a student-worker with the communications team.
Outside of Arcadia, Wade has been a swim coach at Cedar Hill Country Club and Wissahickon Community Aquatic Club, teaching all four strokes.
