Biography
2015: Provided a major defensive presence for the season...led the team with nine blocks in the season averaging .86 blockers per set...finished second in kills on the team...totaled 235 kills averaging 2.12 kills per set...recorded a season high of 18 points and 14 kills against Davidson (11/6)...helped Explorers pick up a 3-0 win over Lafayette with four digs and one ace (9/1).
2014: Emerged as an offensive and defensive presence towards the end of the season… finished fourth on the team with 201 kills on the season… led the team with 66 total blocks on the season… had seven matches where she recorded double digit kills… finished with a season high 16 kills while hitting .412 in a win over Iona (9/13)… hit .556 with 11 kills in a win at Delaware State (10/20)… helped La Salle pick up a conference win at Davidson (10/12) thanks to 11 kills and four blocks.
2013: Felton was a major net-front presence in her first year for the Blue and Gold...She led the team by a wide-margin with 57 total blocks (6 solo – 51 assist) on the season, notching a season-high nine block assists against Bucknell (9/1)...She fell one kill short of the century mark, finishing fifth on the team with 99 on the season...She collected a season-high 10 kills against Sacramento State (9/1)...She finished the season third on the team in hitting percentage (.101)...Felton will be a player to watch in 2014, as she continues to develop her impressive skill-set at the net-front.
High School: The incoming freshman had a standout career at Arundel High School, and a fabulous senior year for the Wildcats....Felton was a three year lettermen for Arundel High and was an integral part of Arundel’s back-to-back undefeated seasons and Maryland 4A State Finals appearances in 2011-2012…She was a 1st Team All Anne Arundel County selection in both her junior and senior seasons, leading the county in Blocks during her senior season…In her senior season, the team captain was voted Anne Arundel County Player of the Year…She also earned 1st Team All-Met honors from both the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post…Also played for the Columbia Volleyball Club.
