La Salle University Athletics

2016: Appeared in 29 sets for the Explorers…ranked second on the team in kills with 231 on the season to average 2.43 per set…added 102 digs and 11 assists to go with 19 blocks on the season…earned a season high of 17 kills against Duquesne (10/7) to go with 17.5 points in the five set loss….added a season high 12 digs in a 3-2 win over Fairleigh Dickinson (9/14).

2015: A major player for the Explorers as an outside hitter...appeared in 30 matches...ranks first on team in kills...collected 263 kills averaging 2.51 kills per set...earned 151 digs averaging 1.47 digs per set...recorded a season high with 20.5 points and 12 digs against Davidson (11/6)...earned 12 kills for the Explorers 3-2 win over UMBC (9/22).

2014: Finished third on the team in digs after splitting time throughout the season at libero, defensive specialist, and outside hitter… recorded 290 digs averaging 2.64 digs per set… added in 84 kills in her limited time at outside hitter… ranked second on the team with 29 service aces… recorded 12 matches with double digit kills… finished with a double-double against NJIT (8/29) with 12 kills and 11 digs… recorded a season high 29 digs against Hartford (9/12)… earned Iona Invitational All-Tournament Team as she led the Explorers to two wins in the tournament. 

High School: A four-time all-conference selection who was named all-state as a senior… named the county’s most valuable player as a senior, averaging nearly 16 kills per match… led Bishop O’Dowd to a Western Alameda County Conference Championship with a perfect 14-0 record during her senior season… played club volleyball for Xceleration VBC.

Personal: Daughter of Kristina and Tony Davis… father played football for Humboldt State… four year honor roll student… three time winner of the African American Achievement Award… volunteered at the local Boys and Girls Club… chose La Salle over BYU, UTEP, UC Riverside, and Houston… came to La Salle because of its location in Philadelphia and the balance of academics and athletics it offers… planning on majoring in Biology.
