Rachel Charles enters her third year as a graduate assistant for the La Salle Volleyball program in 2016. Charles comes to the Explorers from Lehigh, where she was a standout for their volleyball program. A three time Patriot League Libero of the Year and 2013 first team All-Patriot League, she brings a wealth of knowledge that will help the team with their defense in addition to serve and serve receive. She is the Lehigh all-time leader in digs with 1,693 and is fifth on their list for career aces with 157.
Charles graduated with a degree in Earth and Environmental Science, and will be pursuing her Masters in Public Health at La Salle.
