2014: Appeared in nine matches and 22 sets for the Explorers… finished the year with five digs and one service ace.
2013: Lafond appeared in ten matches during her rookie season for the Explorers...She was used mostly as a situational server, notching two service aces on the season...She collected service aces against Weber State (9/14) and George Mason (9/27)...Lafond also collected a dig at Loyola Maryland (9/6).
High School: Lafond’s high school career was a inspirational tale of triumph over personal hardship…She successfully overcame a series of lung collapses, which required four surgeries to correct and claimed her entire sophomore season…She made a full recovery and was a two year starter and letter winner for Archbishop Wood, leading them to an 11-11-2 record her senior year…Also was a member of GPS Crush and Infinity Volleyball Club Teams, earning the Most Coachable award.
