2014: Named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic-All Area team… earned Academic All-Atlantic 10 honors… finalist for Academic All-America… finished second on the team with 216 kills while leading the team with a .257 hitting percentage… recorded 21 service aces on the year… tallied 74 digs on the season… had 12 games on the year where she finished with double digit kills… finished with a season high 16 kills and hit .467 in a conference win over Fordham (10/31)… hit .611 with 11 kills and six digs in a win over Loyola (8/30). 

2013: Whelan was a formidable presence in the middle of the Explorers alignment, appearing in 26 matches in 2013...She finished third on the team in both kills (104) and total blocks (28)...She also chipped in nine service aces on the year...She notched a season high 12 kills and five block assists against Fordham (11/15)...She hit a season high .455 in a 6 kill – 11 attack performance against Saint Louis (10/5)...Whelan was named to the 2013 Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team at the conclusion of the season (link)...She will help lead the Explorers as one of three returning seniors in 2014.

2012: Was one of two Explorers to start all 30 matches in 2012…Whelan was a solid contributor on the offensive as she ranked 2^nd on the team in Attacking Percentage (.153), 3^rd on the team in both Points (175.5) and Points/Set (1.63), while ranking 4^th in Kills (139), Kills/Set (1.29), and Attacks (425)…On defense, she was the Explorers biggest net front presence…She led the Blue & Gold in Total Blocks (53, Block Assists (49), and Blocks/Set (0.49), while ranking 3^rd in Solo Blocks with 4…Her all-around game was showcased against the University of Pennsylvania (9/1) when she recorded 10 Kills, 5 Digs, and 6 Block Assists in the contest.

2011: Appeared in 30 matches for La Salle…made first collegiate start against St. Peter’s, adding eight kills, seven digs and two blocks (8/26)…posted a career-high 13 kills against Rider, hitting .722 (13 kills-no errors-18 attempts) (9/28)…added seven kills and a career-high 19 digs versus Providence (8/27)…averaged 1.12 kills per set and hit .139

High School: A three year varsity starter...helped guide Wood to a first place finish in the Philadelphia Catholic League as well as the District 12 Championship in 2008 and 2010...named second team All-Philadelphia Catholic League and All-District 12 in 2009...named first team All-Philadelphia Catholic League, All-District 12, All-Intel selection and was selected to the all-state team in 2010
