Alexandra “Sasha” Iakimenko joined La Salle’s athletic training staff in the summer of 2023. Iakimenko currently works with La Salle’s men’s and women’s cross-country and track and field teams and women’s lacrosse.
Iakimenko graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science in 2021 and a Master of Athletic Training in 2023. While at Temple, Iakimenko worked with field hockey, football, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s XC/TF, dance/cheer, gymnastics, wrestling, secondary school athletics at Germantown Friends School, and the orthopedic and concussion clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Iakimenko’s is a certified Athletic Trainer and Licensed Athletic Trainer in Pennsylvania. Also, she is a NREMT Certified Emergency Medical Technician, a Licensed Emergency Medical Technician in Pennsylvania, and is certified by the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED.
