Dei Lynam

Denise "Dei" Lynam was named the fifth Head Women's Golf Coach at La Salle University in May 2026.

"We're excited to welcome Dei as our new women's golf coach," Interim Director of Athletics Phil Snead commented. "Dei is a household name in Philadelphia sports and will raise the profile of our program. We can't wait to see her help our student-athletes excel on the course, in the classroom, and in the community."

Lynam joins the Blue and Gold amidst a long and storied career as a basketball analyst, most notably for the Philadelphia 76ers and their G-League affiliates, the Delaware Blue Coats. She hosts pre and post-game radio shows on 97.5 The Fanatic for 76ers games and also serves as a broadcaster for numerous collegiate women's basketball programs across the Northeast.

An avid golfer since she was 28 years old, Lynam is a proud member of Rolling Green Golf Club where she also serves as the captain for the club's WGAP team. She and her husband, Tim, are also two-time winners of the club's husband-and-wife tournament in 2019 and 2024.

Lynam fell in love with the game of golf while training for a marathon. Five days before running the race and growing increasingly worried about running for four hours straight, her husband recommended a round of golf to help her associate four hours with golf rather than the drive from her hometown of Madison, WI to Chicago and back.
