Following three seasons in professional baseball, Griffin Pyott joined the La Salle Sports Medicine staff in July 2025.
Prior to his arrival at 20th and Olney, Pyott was as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Delmarva Shorebirds, the Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. He previously served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2023 Triple-A National Champions and MiLB Team of the Year, Norfolk Tides and worked as the primary athletic trainer providing coverage to the organization’s alternate site camp location in Sarasota, Florida during the 2023 MLB Postseason.
Pyott’s experience in college athletics includes a stint at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer while earning his Master of Science in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Exercise and Sports Psychology. Pyott also holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marywood University, where he was on the men’s lacrosse team.
