Jack Silva joined the La Salle Athletic Communications department in January 2025 and was promoted to Athletics Communications Coordinator in August of the same year, following a semester as a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Communications at Wagner College.
At La Salle, Silva serves as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, field hockey, men’s and women’s rowing, and men’s and women’s golf. Since arriving at 20th and Olney, he has led media coverage for the men’s rowing team’s historic performance at the 2025 IRA National Championship and created the first-ever golf record books, compiling historical statistics and designing digital layouts.
While at Wagner, Silva was the primary contact for seven sports and played a key role in coordinating the 2024 Northeast Conference Field Hockey Championship.
Silva earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Georgia in 2024. During his time in Athens, he interned with the Marketing & Fan Engagement office, worked as a sports research assistant under Dr. Steven Salaga, and was employed by the University of Georgia Golf Course.
A native of Rocklin, California, Silva previously served as an operations and media intern with the nearby Lincoln Potters of the California Collegiate League, where he managed social media, wrote feature stories, conducted interviews, and assisted with game day operations.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the golf course and supporting his favorite teams—the Sacramento Kings and Las Vegas Raiders.
