La Salle University Athletics

Madison Roman joined the La Salle University Athletics Department as the Athletics Digital Media Coordinator in August 2026.

In her role, Roman works alongside the athletics communications and marketing teams to create digital media content promoting La Salle’s varsity programs and student-athletes. Her responsibilities include graphic design, photography, videography, and social media content creation, while also serving as a media contact for Baseball, M/W Swimming & Diving, and Women's Rugby.

Roman arrived at La Salle after spending two years as a Communications Assistant with UAlbany Athletics. She served as the primary communications contact for the Great Danes’ volleyball and baseball programs and as the secondary contact for women’s basketball and rowing. Roman managed media relations, storytelling, statistics, website content, and game-day communications for her assigned programs. She also assisted with coverage of several America East championship events and NCAA Tournament appearances.

Before joining UAlbany Athletics, Roman worked as a Social Media Content Creator for UAlbany Enrollment Marketing, where she managed the @UAlbanyBound Instagram account and created content aimed at prospective students. She also completed a fellowship with Navigate, a sports and entertainment consulting agency, contributing to research, audience analysis and communications projects involving organizations such as Chicago Fire FC, the Professional Volleyball Federation and the Big Ten Conference.

Originally from Selden, N.Y., Roman earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in communication from UAlbany in 2024. She completed her MBA at UAlbany in 2026.
