La Salle University Athletics

Steve joined the team at La Salle in December 2024 as General Manager of Athletic Partnerships for our sponsorship rights partner, Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment Group. In his role, he oversees all sales and execution of corporate partnerships for La Salle Athletics. 
 
Previously, Steve served as an Account Executive at Audacy, the parent company of Sports Radio 94 WIP and KYW Newsradio. He developed new business and sponsorship sales for the six-station Philadelphia radio group’s programming and its streaming and digital platforms, as well as the Eagles and Phillies Radio Networks. 
 
Prior to Audacy, Steve spent four years as an Account Executive at NBC Sports Philadelphia. During which time he was instrumental in developing new business and growing existing accounts for their Phillies, Flyers and Sixers game telecasts, and network programming, in addition to corporate partnership sales of Flyers and Wells Fargo Center assets.
 
Before transitioning to a career in sales, Steve spent two decades as a television sportscaster in Philadelphia, working as an anchor and reporter at KYW-TV, CBS 3, and Comcast SportsNet/NBC Sports Philadelphia. He is a three-time local Emmy Award-winner.
 
Bucci is a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor's degree in Communications. In 2006, he was honored as an Outstanding Alumnus by the Communications/Journalism department.
