Taylor Hess joined the La Salle athletic department as Associate AD for Compliance and Student-Athlete Success in February 2025.
With over a decade of NCAA compliance experience, Hess arrives at La Salle after previously serving as the Assistant AD/Compliance for Basketball at Villanova. Hess was the primary compliance contact for the Wildcats’ men’s and women’s basketball programs and was a member of the athletic department’s senior staff.
Hess oversaw all bylaw 12 and bylaw 16 policies and procedures for the compliance office, reviewed all financial transactions and expenditures relating to prospects and student-athletes, while navigating multiple departments to create processes that ensure compliance with NCAA legislation and institutional policies.
Previously, Hess spent three years at the University of Arizona, serving as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. Prior to his stint in Tucson, Hess was a part of the Compliance staffs at the University of Kansas, Rice University and his graduate alma mater, Southern Methodist University.
A member of the National Association of Athletics Compliance (NAAC). No stranger to the Atlantic 10, Hess also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Davidson College along with his Master's Degree from SMU.Â
