Zachary Borrero joined the La Salle Athletic Department in 2026 as the Equipment Coordinator after gaining extensive hands-on experience at both the collegiate and professional levels.
Borrero most recently served as a Seasonal Equipment Associate with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2025–26 season. In that role, he was responsible for maintaining and preparing all player equipment, including daily sanitation of helmets and protective gear in accordance with NFL standards. He also managed team laundry operations, assisted with practice field setup and breakdown, and ensured locker room and sideline areas were fully organized and game-ready. Additionally, Borrero supported player warmups by operating the jugs machine and preparing uniforms for practices and team activities.
Prior to his time in the NFL, Borrero spent three seasons as a Student Equipment Manager with Temple University Football from 2022 to 2025. There, he played an integral role in daily team operations, assisting coaches during practices, organizing and maintaining equipment inventory, and coordinating the distribution of gear for practices and games. He also contributed to gameday logistics by packing equipment trunks and supporting communication systems in the coaches’ booth.
Borrero earned his Bachelor of General Studies in Sport and Recreation Management and Nutrition from Temple University in 2025. He also completed undergraduate studies in Sport Management at West Virginia University.
