Meghan McGlinchey has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week for April 7. The senior ran a 33:15.95 in the 10,000 meter run at the Stanford Invitational on Friday evening, the top mark in the A-10 and the fifth-fastest time in the nation this spring.

McGlinchey set a PR in the event, shaving more than 30 seconds off her previous best (33:46.04). The time nearly eclipsed Rachel Papin's school record of 33:15.18, set in 2004. The West Deptford, N.J. native finished 10^th in the 34-runner field that featured some of the nation's finest collegiate and professional runners.
