Kelsey Haycook has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Month for October. The senior tallied 20 points on 10 goals in seven games as the Explorers went 7-0 last month.

The senior forward scored the game-winning goal in the first six games of October, and found pay dirt in all seven games in the month. Haycook had multi-goal games in wins over George Washington, VCU and George Mason.

Haycook’s impressive month helped the Point Pleasant, N.J. native pace the A-10 in goals, points, and game-winning goals, and finish in the top ten nationally in all three categories.
